About Us
Harvest Technologies, Inc.
Established in 1997, Harvest Technologies is a Vermont Corporation specializing in beneficial use programs and logistics for paper industry by-products.
Founding partners Turk Ellis and Donna Morris recognized there was a need to develop uses for the residuals from paper manufacturing as opposed to the then practice of disposal in solid waste facilities.
Harvest’s initial focus was in New England and New York State where they created and permitted Compost Facilities, Soil Amendment programs, Liquid Waste Solidification programs, Livestock Bedding, and obtained Alternative Daily Cover permits for multiple generators and municipalities.
With successful partnerships and programs with various paper manufacturers, they were asked to assist and develop programs for sister companies in other parts of the U.S. and Canada.
The growth of industrial waste liquids and programs established by Harvest led to multiple national and international corporate accounts. Concurrently Harvest began offering distribution programs expanding into paper converting residuals management.
